To meet the human resources requirements, GMF AeroAsia has established a cooperation with Suryadharma University (Unsurya). The agreement was signed by the Director of Human Capital & Corporate Affairs of GMF, Harkandri M Dahler and the Rector of Unsurya, Air Commodore TNI (Ret.) Ahmad Dirwan on 10 January 2014 at the Unsurya Building in Jakarta. The cooperation is a follow-up to a previous agreement between the Adi Upaya Foundation which oversees the Suryadharma University.
According to Harkandri, the partnership is an exciting breakthrough for both sides. In addition to the development of education which is in compliance with CASR 147 (AMTO) for Unsurya, Unsurya graduates also gain a career opportunity in GMF. “We believe this collaboration is mutually beneficial for GMF and Unsurya,” said Harkandri.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Dirwan said this collaboration is a shared commitment between the industry and educational institutions. “We expect the output from Unsurya will become more trustworthy in the world of employment and will be able to provide contribution to the world of aviation.
