GMF AeroAsia has strengthened its maintenance and repair service for aircraft cabin and interior by cooperating with Regent Aerospace Corporation. The Master Agreement of Joint Operation Establishment between GMF and Regent Aerospace Corporation was signed by the President Director of GMF AeroAsia Richard Budihadianto and Reza Soltanian as President of Regent Aerospace Corporation on 12 February 2014 at the Singapore Airshow 2014. “The agreement is to strengthen one of GMF services which is maintenance, repair, and overhaul for cabin and interior parts,” said Richard Budihadianto.
Regent Aerospace Corporation will facilitate the required equipment and facilitation experts in handling the aircraft cabin and interior parts, while GMF will provide the facilities and labor. This partnership is highly strategic in the effort to support Garuda Indonesia in achieving its target to become a five star Airline Skytrax. Regent Aerospace Corporation has had experience in maintaining and repairing aircraft cabin and interior operated by scheduled airlines, both private and military.
By cooperating with Regent Aerospace Corporation, the quality of maintaining aircraft cabin and interior at GMF is targeted to improve and meet the cabin and interior standards of a five-star airline. Therefore, the cooperation with Regent Aerospace also includes capability development and increasing the capacity of cabin and interior parts maintenance. “Besides for supporting Garuda, our service is also marketed for other airlines,” he said.
