GMF AeroAsia has collaborated with Sriwijaya State Polytechnic and Medan State Polytechnic for the education, training and recruitment of manpower. The agreement was signed by the Director of Human Capital & Corporate Affairs, Harkadri M Dahler with each Director of Polytechnics on June 11-12th, 2014.
According to GM Knowledge Management of GMF, Achmad Syifa, GMF will assist both Polytechnics in achieving the AMTO 147 by providing assistance to prepare the AMTO 147 certification. “In addition, GMF will act as a bridge of communication between DKUPPU authority with both Polytechnics during the certification process,” he said. Syifa also explained that the cooperation will be extended to implement the AMTO 147 diploma education in Aeronautical Engineering program, whereas the top graduates will be recruited by GMF as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
To support the program, GMF will establish AMTO 147 Remote Training Center in both Polytechnics. The graduates can directly work at GMF without taking Basic Aircraft Maintenance Education Training in company.
