GMF AeroAsia passed the 10 Travira Air technicians who completed the Basic Aircraft Maintenance (BAM) Electric Avionic education for 13 months, dedicated to Diploma 3/ Strata 1 graduates. “The total length of education is 1317 hours with 943 hours of class lectures and 374 hours of practice,” said Djatmiko H. Putra, GM Learning Services of GMF. He also added that all training participants passed with the highest score of 747.4 and the average score of 83. The education was held in three phases, start on April 22nd, 2013 until February 28th, 2014, while the graduation was held on June 27th, 2014 in GMF Serbaguna Building.
Moreover, the trainees also received additional program, On the Job Training (OJT) in Line and Base Maintenance for 300 hours on March 13th until May 30th, 2014. They took the General Licence examination on June 11th-12th 2014 to acquire the C1, C2, C4 license. “All participants passed the examination with satisfactory results,” stated Djatmiko. Meanwhile, the VP Learning Center & Corporate Culture of GMF, Hermawan Syahrul, said training materials were given to improve knowledge, skill and attitude. “Hopefully they can implement the knowledge and experience they gained in the real world at PT Travira Air,” he said.
