GMF Accomplished the EASA DOA Initial Investigation Audit

GMF Design Organization completed an initial investigation audit as one of the stages to obtain the EASA Design Approval Organization (DOA) certificate. The audit was conducted by Daniel Martin Aguado as EASA DOA Team Leader on September 15th-19th, 2014. “This audit is the fourth stage of the five stages that GMF is required to go through,” said Agus Pribadi Muhardjanto, GMF’s Chief of Airworthiness Office. GMF applied for the design privilege minor change and minor repair rating for electrical, avionics, installation, cabin safety, and structure.

In this audit, the auditor will ensure the compliance between the DOA handbook including procedure, work instruction and form with the real condition of GMF Design Organization. An inspection will also be carried out on the completeness of facilities, software, personnel, and samples of GMF Design Organization product. “There are seven products filed as sample cases that need to be audited,” he said. In addition, the auditor conducted an assessment on the management staff and a number of Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).

Agus said the EASA DOA certification is one of the milestones of GMF to achieve its vision to become a world class MRO in 2015. GMF will expand the target customer for DOA products by offering its products to foreign customers.
