GMF successfully underwent a Civil Aviation and Metrology Authority (CAMA) audit without any findings on November 10th-12th 2014. The civil aviation authority of Yemen sent two auditors, Ebrahim Mattash and Abubaker Al Sanah to audit GMF’s certificate of approval for B747 Pratt and Whitney engine and A330 airframe ratings. “The auditors only provided a few recommendations for improvement,” said Hariyadi Wirja, GM Quality System & Auditing Base Maintenance.

The audit covered all aspects of aircraft maintenance such as quality system & procedure, personnel record, material receiving, maintenance record, facility, and tools & equipment. Besides the Base Maintenance area, the auditor also audited the Line Maintenance area  related with Yemenia Airlines regular flights handled by GMF in Cengkareng. “The auditors’s observation results and notes have been followed up,” he said.
