GMF Achieves the Green Line Service Category

GMF AeroAsia has successfully achieved the Green Line Service Category from the Director General of Customs Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia. The decision stated in the Report of Updated Company Profiles Receiving the Dump Bonded Facility on April 7, 2015.

GMF is entitled to receive care and supervision of goods with no physical inspection, as the document inspection is conducted after a Letter of Approval for Goods Release is issued. “This category was achieved because GMF is considered to be aligned with customs regulations,” said Richard Budihadianto, the President Director of GMF AeroAsia.

The bonded zone facility makes GMF received a lot of benefits such as the suspension of import duties, taxes and swiftness of service importation of aircraft spare parts. The advantages greatly assists the Turn AroundTime (TAT) achievement of aircraft maintenance to become faster and timely. “In the aircraft maintenance industry, TAT is one of the customer’s main considerations in determining who will perform the maintenance of its aircraft,” he said. However, the achievement comes with a huge responsibility since the smallest mistake can give an impact on the revocation of the bonded zone facility.
