GMF AeroAsia held A330 Practical Training for six Iraqi Airways engineers in Jakarta for 45 days started on 14th August 2015. Before joined the training, they were provided with A330 refreshing materials in the class. At two weeks after, the participants performed A330 aircraft maintenance practice in Hangar 3 GMF by performing the D-Check process observation of Garuda’s A330 aircrafts. “During the training we also provided troubleshooting materials,” said Budi Krisna, GM of Aircraft Type Training.
In the last two weeks, they were sent to Malaysia to perform CF6-80 engine practical training for A330 aircrafts. “The training is a part of the collaboration between GMF and Iraqi Airways,” said Rully Marully, GMF’s Account Manager. Cooperation with Iraqi Airways is expected to strengthen GMF market penetration in the Middle East. Throughout the years, GMF has been cooperating with a number of airlines in the Middle East.
