The Director of Human Capital & Corporate Affairs of GMF AeroAsia, Harkandri M. Dahler and the Director of the Surabaya State Electronic Polytechnic (PENS) Dr. Zainal Arief signed a cooperation agreement of education in Surabaya on November 26th, 2015. The cooperation covers three sectors i.e. Provide field trip opportunities, internship, practical work and thesis research for PENS students in GMF. Organizing education and training are part of the cooperation term as well. The last point of the cooperation was to build a joint research and development of technology to solve the company’s problems.
In addition, GMF will also assist PENS in preparing the AMTO 147 certification process. “GMF is willing to be a consultant for PENS in the preparation of PENS AMTO 147 until the AMTO 147 education is established and organized at PENS,” said General Manager of Human Capital Development of GMF, Nanang Trityasko Basuki. Besides, he expect to generate qualified individuals for the national aircraft maintenance industry by this cooperation.
According to Nanang, the cooperation is an effort to build the national aviation industry. The professionals that are produced from this program can be empowered the professional resources in the lack of domestic aircrafts’ technician.
