CEO of GMF AeroAsia, Richard Budihadianto and CEO of Sriwijaya Air, Chandra Lie signed cooperation to provide aircraft, engine and component maintenance for Sriwjaya fleet on 17th February 2016 at Singapore Airshow.
This cooperation agreement consists of aircraft maintenance for 17 B737 type aircraft for a year, component pooling contract renewal for 14 of B737-800 and 737-900 aircraft, for a period of 5 years, and also 10 CFM56-3 engine shop visit for a year. The total revenue for its three scope of works is projected to reach USD 48 million.
Sriwijaya Air has been cooperating with GMF since 2007. Along with the growth of air fleet, Sriwijaya Air entrusted the aircraft maintenance to GMF with a total volume of maintenance is increasing every year. The quality, reliability, on time delivery services and competitive price are the main advantages of GMF in capturing the MRO market. “GMF will provide the best services to Sriwijaya Air,” said Richard.
