GMF Supports Garuda’s Hajj Flight

An Indonesian Flag Carrier, Garuda Indonesia was appointed as national official hajj transport 2016. This year, Garuda prepare 12 of its aircraft to accommodate thousands pilgrims from eight embarkations. As the maintenance provider of Garuda Indonesia, GMF AeroAsia gives its maximum support for the hajj flight 2016.
Hajj flight 2016 is divided by three phase of departure. First phase is departure phase which started on August, 9th until 5th September 2016. Second phase is standby phase which held from August 6th to 16th of August. Third phase is…….? For preliminary step, GMF AeroAsia sent its personnel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to handle the first phase.

“The team is stand from 14 engineers with qualifications based on the aircraft types,” said Agus Mulyasana, GMF AeroAsia’s General Manager of Line Maintenance Support. This year, Garuda Indonesia operated 12 aircraft composed by two Boeing B747-400s, six Airbus A330s and four Boeing B777s.
GMF AeroAsia’s Vice President of Outstation Line Maintenance, Muhammad Sadali urge the Engineer Team to always work under safety procedures. He also supports the team to work professionally and build a strong team work. “Please stay healthy and do not forget to pray, I am sure if everything will be running well,” he said.
