Cengkareng – PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia (GMF) start 2017 with signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Avia Technics Dirgantara (FL Technics Indonesia) at Bandara Hotel, Cengkareng on January 19th 2017. The MoU was signed by President & CEO of GMF, Juliandra Nurtjahjo and CEO of FL Technics Indonesia, Martynas Grigalavicius. The partnership between GMF and FL Technics Indonesia is containing cooperation in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul and other services.
Juliandra Nurtjahjo on his opening speech said that partnership with FL Technics which is affiliated MRO Company based in Vilnius, Lithuania, is a strategy to expanding GMF’s business in 2017. “Considering its Global Footprint, we optimist this partnership could contribute some added value for GMF’s business”, said Juliandra.
Aircraft growth has an impact on aircraft maintenance capacity whereas took a special concern to GMF in this partnership. With FL Technics Indonesia, GMF hoped could enhance its capacity. In addition to this partnership, GMF is widely open an opportunity to make a partnership with domestic and international potential partner at Batam, Riau Archipelago. “Strategic Partnership and optimal supports from the government, we certainly believe aircraft maintenance capacity in Indonesia could be implemented in 2017,” said Juliandra.
The partnership between GMF and FL Technics founded on capacity enhancement opportunities which are GMF’s strategy during 2017 to expanding the business. This strategy is one of 3 big strategies to its vision become Top 10 MRO in the world. Moreover, this partnership is expected synergy between MRO could be implemented and strengthen global aircraft maintenance industry as well.
