President & CEO of PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia (GMF), Iwan Joeniarto, was awarded as the Best CEO of Indonesia Subsidiary of State Owned Companies – 2017 in the Indonesia Subsidiary of State Owned Companies Award 2017 held by Economic Review Magazine along with IPMI International School and Perbanas Institute. GMF President & CEO is represented by GMF Director of Human Capital & Corporate Affairs, Harkandri M Dahler received the award given directly by Chairman of the Jury Board Ms. Ir. Irina Mildawani MT., Phd., and Ms. Hj. Irlisa Rachmadiana MM as Founder & CEO Economic Review, Business Review.
In addition, at the event held at the Embassy Office of the Republic of Indonesia for Singapore, Wednesday, August 23, 2017, GMF also awarded as the 2nd Best Overall Winner of the Indonesia Subsidiary of State Owned Companies.
As indicator of valuation in this awarding event, there are eleven categories in the company including; Finance, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Information Technology, Operations, Corporate Communications as well as CEO. GMF Director of Human Capital & Corporate Affairs said that this award can increase the value of the company. “In the middle of our corporate action to go public on the Stock Exchange, this award is an added value of GMF for our potential investors,” Harkandri said.
This prestigious event is a proof of GMF for its good performance from 2014 to 2016. GMF’s revenue from 2014 to 2016 are 264 million USD, 306 million USD and 389 million USD. While the net profit achieved are 18 million USD, 36M USD and 57.7M USD. Based on the revenue achieved, GMF occupies the position of 13th MRO company (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) in the world. Harkandri said GMF has a vision of entering to the top 10 MROs in the world by 2021. “Our vision is Top 10 MRO in The World with the revenue of $ 1 billion USD,” Harkandri said. He added, GMF committed to continuously increasing its capacity and capability as Total Solutions Provider MRO to achieve that vision. Furthermore, GMF also makes good Corporate Governance as a foundation in managing and running the company. “GMF continues to improve quality as an effort to gain a better trust from all stakeholders,” Harkandri said.
