GMF AeroAsia successfully completed an overhaul of B737-400 owned by Indonesia Air Force that delivered on August 28, 2017. “The Indonesia Air Force is satisfy with the result,” said Tri Wiraleksana as Account Manager & Sales. He said, these A-7308 is an aircraft that Lion Air presented for Indonesia Air Force. The aircraft is on-ground for 9 months, so to operate again, it must be performed D-Check. “Indonesia Air Force handover its aircraft to GMF immediately,” He added.
Finally, this aircraft maintenance can be done before the delivery target. Besides having a maintenance, GMF also provide Basic Planner and basic Quality Training for 15 Indonesia Air Force personnel. This training is provide as the form of capability development program of Indonesia Air Force. “GMF supported Indonesia Air Force which is improve its capability to perform the B737-400 overhaul,” He said. This is expected that cooperation between GMF and Indonesia Air Force could be more extensive.
