Kabo Air has provided confidence to PT GMF AeorAsia to perform the maintenance of it’s B747-200 aircraft. The aircraft with registration number 5N-MAD is going to the C-Check, ADSB and Components Replacement starting the end of March 2012.“We also have a logo replacement repainting plan, from the Biman Air to Kabo Air” according to Rully Marully, The Account Manager of GMF.
According to the plan, the 5N-MAD will be leased to other operators starting April 2012.In addition to deliver an aircraft, Kabo will also send 20 of their technician to be trained in type rating for B747-400 aircraft in GMF. GMF will also train the Kabo Air engineer the refreshing type rating of B747-400. The duration of training of type rating B747-400 is expected to last for one and half month.
Rully said that the confidence of Kabo Air is not the first. The Nairobi, Nigeria based airline has been cooperating with GMF for very long time. “Our commitment is to give the best to our costumers” he said.
