GMF AeroAsia is fully equipped and capable of providing a broad range of heavy maintenance service solutions from major defect rectification, repainting aircraft exteriors to decorative finishing, section 41 and wing pylon modifications, cabin refurbishment and reconfiguration, state-of-the-art inflight entertainment installation, heavy structural repairs and cargo conversion.

GMF has successfully upgraded many B747-200 and has performed heavy maintenance work of B737, B747, A300, A310, A330, DC10, MD82 and F28 aircraft types. These demanding tasks were conducted within GMF AeroAsia maintenance hangars, which have a cumulative area of close to 68,000 sqm. One hangar is specifically designed to accommodate two B747’s side-by-side and is equipped with a repair bay and docking platform specifically designed for B747 heavy maintenance.
