GMF Redeliveries MK Airlines


GMF AeroAsia has successfully completed C-Check maintenance service for MK Airlines flight Boeing 747-200. After 51 days undergone for maintenance in Hangar 1, light with registration number 9G-MKP was redelivered to its main base at Ostend-Bruges International Airport, Belgium, on November 21.2007.

"The work package and additional work are quite a lot," said Mr. R. Andi Fajarprabawa, GMF Project M anager of Hangar 1. Because according to Mr. Andi the aircraft, at the same times, due to change its registration number. Before MK Airlines is registered in Ghana and now holds a U.K Civil Aviation Authority.

As a cargo airline which operates services throughout the world their Licensed and Air Operator Certified should be base of operations, with Africa and the rest of the world. To those purpose a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority was worked in Hangar 1.

"UK Civil Aviation Authority only focused on MK Airlines not GMF," said Mr. Ganis Kristanto, GMF Lead Auditor. Because, "GMF is already held a European Aviation Safety Agency Operating License," he said.

MK Airlines is a cargo airline registered in the United Kingdom and providing worldwide freight operations.
