January 18, 2010 05:49 AM GMF AeroAsia has successfully performed assembly of its 45 units ULD Container LD-3 belongs to Garuda Indonesia Cargo, which imported from its manufacture in Drissen, Bangkok on January 13, 2010. This container has assembled by ULD & Meal Trolley Maintenance Unit was sent to Indonesia in the form of complete knock down (CKD). Manager of ULD & Meal Trolley Maintenance Mr. Dudung Danuswara said his unit capable to assemble 7 container units a day. "So all the containers being rafted within seven days w ork, "said Mr. Dudung. According to Mr. Dudung, before assembling the container, GMF sent two employees ULD Maintenance & Meal Trolley Unit to Drissen, Bangkok for LD-3 container installation training in Drissen. "Our employees have passed and received certificate of ability, "he said. After submitting assembly 45 units LD-3 container, Garuda Cargo plans to send another 30 units ULD Container LD-6, and 46 units of pallets from Nordisk. Also another pallet 30 units will be sent from Dr issen. "Everything will be assembled back here," said Mr. Teuku Farid as GMF Ground Support Equipment. Mr. Farid said that if all this work completed, GMF will continue cooperation with Drissen for ULD Container assembly LD-3 in Indonesia. Moreover, GMF has experience in this field. In addition to assemble a container owned by Garuda, GMF ever done repair of 10 units of ULD container of LD-8 belongs to Viva Air from Macau.
