SR Technic Trains GMF Employees


GMF AeroAsia sent four employees to follow Basic Engine CFM56-7B training for B737-NG aircraft in the Swiss Air Technic (SR Technic), Switzerland. The training which took place on 23 January 2010 until 14 February 2010 was to obtain certification for maintaining GMF's engines of CFM56-7. Four employees sent by GMF were Mr. Roban WH (Manager Engine/APU Field Service Engineer), Mr. Imam Rudiman (Engineer), Mr. Dana Siswana, and Mr. Sutarso (engineer). "Through this training we expect they can increase their ability to the level overhaul CFM56-7B engine aircraft of B737-NG, "said Mr. Leonardus Andriyanto, Program Manager of Engine GMF.

The materials during a three-week training consisted of theory and practice. In the first week, the material provided a theory of Basic Engine CFM56-7B. The second week participants receive Assy and Disassy's practice materials jointly conducted with SR Tecnich employees. In the third week the participants divided into two groups. The first group dealt with Assy and Disassy and Flow Engine Process from disassy up to conduct the test, while The second group engaged with t he Engineering System training.

Basic training materials CFM56-7B Engine provided by Mr. Tunc Aydogdu, Instructor SR Technic Learning Center. While the practice conducted by SR Technic. "We got a positive response from SR Technic employees,"said Mr. Sutarso. In addition, according to Mr. Andriyanto Leonardus, the training aimed to improve the ability and skill of GMF employee, also transmit the good company culture of SR Technic to GMF. Training is also expected to increase GMF market share in the field of maintenance for CFM56-7B engines.
