Tangerang, June 03rd 2026 — PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) welcomed a field visit from 200 participants of the 55th Regular Course of the Indonesian Armed Forces Staff and Command School (Pasis Dikreg LV Sesko TNI) on (05/26). The delegation, led by Sesko TNI Commandant, Air Marshal Arif Widianto, S.A.B., M.Tr.(Han).. CHRMP was received by GMF Human Resources Director, Mitra Piranti. The visit aimed to provide participants with firsthand insights into the challenges, opportunities, and strategies involved in managing and safeguarding GMF’s facilities as part of Indonesia’s national vital objects.
During the visit, participants attended a series of presentations delivered by Budi Krisna Lelmalaya, Quality Assurance Division Head of GMF’s Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Defense Industry. The session covered three key topics: GMF Company Profile, Global Aviation Outlook, and Defense Outlook. Through these discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of GMF SBU Defense Industry’s role in providing aircraft maintenance services to support Indonesia’s defense sector. The program continued with a site visit to Hangar 4, where participants observed the ongoing maintenance activities of a Hercules aircraft.
This visit is expected to further strengthen the relationship and synergy between GMF and military institutions. Looking ahead, continued collaboration is anticipated to support the operational readiness of defense aircraft while contributing to the enhancement of Indonesia’s national resilience.
