Tangerang, February 13th 2026 — PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) demonstrating its capabilities as a key player in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry by completing the reactivation projects of Garuda Indonesia and Citilink airlines. This project is part of the Garuda Indonesia Group's synergy in supporting the improvement of the national airline's operational readiness. As of February 13th, 2026, GMF has successfully restored the operational status of three Garuda Indonesia aircraft and 15 Citilink aircraft.
In the Garuda Indonesia aircraft reactivation project, GMF successfully completed the reactivation of three Airbus A330 airframes with registrations PK-GHE, PK-GHF, and PK-GHI, two engine performance restoration projects, eight High Pressure Turbine (HPT) blade replacements, and four landing gear overhaul. The completion of the Garuda Indonesia reactivation project demonstrated a high level of punctuality, with the majority of key milestones achieved on time.
Meanwhile, in Citilink's reactivation project, GMF successfully completed the reactivation of 15 Airbus A320 aircraft, one engine overhaul, one engine repair, six auxiliary power unit (APU) overhauls, and one landing gear overhaul. All aircraft underwent C05 + 6 Year + 12 Year Inspection with 100% completion in accordance with the total Turn Around Time (TAT) agreed upon with Citilink. In the airframe reactivation work, two aircraft underwent special livery painting on registrations PK - GLL and PK - GLY, with PK - GLY being the most recently completed.
In 2026, GMF is committed to continuing the Garuda Indonesia Group reactivation project. A number of Garuda Indonesia reactivation jobs have been planned, including five Garuda Indonesia Airbus A330 aircraft, 10 engine maintenance jobs, 2 APU overhaul jobs, and one landing gear overhaul job. Then, for the Citilink airline reactivation project, 20 aircraft will be reactivated, consisting of six ATR72-600 aircraft and 14 Airbus A320 aircraft, 12 engine overhaul jobs, and six APU overhaul jobs. All evaluations of the reactivation project implementation in 2025 will form the basis for improving Turn Around Time (TAT), strengthening risk management, and controlling Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) through various continuous improvement initiatives carried out by GMF.
