In parallel, GMF signed an agreement with PDQ for the sale of surplus materials, aimed at supporting efficiency in asset and material management owned by GMF.
On day 2, GMF expanded its partnership portfolio through a strategic agreement with Honeywell to enhance cooperation in the maintenance of APU and components. This partnership is part of GMF’s broader strategy to strengthen its foothold in the global MRO market, particularly in the APU and component segments.
Alongside signing agreements, GMF also took the opportunity to engage in discussions and explore potential collaborations with various potential customers and business partners, including AirAsia Group, Korean Airlines, Fiji Airways, Cebu Pacific Air, Vietravel Airlines, Japan Airlines, and Asiana Airlines. Intensive discussions were also held with other potential customers and partners, such as Bismillah Airlines, Peach Aviation, Nepal Airlines, My Technic, and Aero Plus International Holding, to explore mutually beneficial collaborations in the future.
GMF did not only meet the airlines but also engaged with several global lessor companies to discuss future collaboration opportunities, which could expand GMF’s business scope in aircraft leasing maintenance and asset management. These meetings included discussions on strategies for developing more integrated services and efficient maintenance solutions for various fleet types.
GMF also leveraged the momentum of MRO Asia Pacific 2024 to maintain good relationships with other MRO provider such as Lufthansa Technik, SR Technics, AFI KLM E&M, Turkish Technic, and Malaysia Airlines Berhad Engineering Services. These discussions aimed to not only strengthen existing partnerships but also identify new opportunities for cooperation that could enhance GMF’s technical and operational capabilities while maintaining its competitive edge in the global market.
