Tangerang, October 18th, 2023 – PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) renewed its collaboration in Maintenance Training Services with Airbus on Wednesday (10/18). This partnership, which has been in place since 2013, has now been extended until 2028, covering aspects such as Development Instructor Type Training and Special Training Engine Run Up for A320 and A330, Airbus Competence Training "ACT" Classroom for A320 & A330, Annual Quality Audit for GMF Training Center, Airbus Proficiency Checks for GMF instructors, Certificate for Trainees under EASA/Manufacture Airbus Approval, and Revenue Sharing as a Remote Airbus Maintenance Organization. The symbolic signing of this collaboration took place at Mercure Hotel, Bumi Serpong Damai, with Mukhtaris, the Director of Line Operation at GMF, and Christian Delmas, Head of Maintenance Training Worldwide at Airbus.

 

This extension marks the third period of the Maintenance Training Service partnership between GMF and Airbus. GMF is acknowledged as the world's first Maintenance Training Organization trusted by Airbus for three consecutive periods. This enduring partnership demonstrates GMF's commitment to showcasing its dedication to enhancing aviation maintenance excellence in Indonesia and making it more competitive on the international stage.

 

Mukhtaris, GMF’s Director of Line Operation, stated that this extension reinforces GMF's commitment to developing manpower in the EASA Airbus Type. This partnership is anticipated to enhance the workforce's capabilities further, enabling GMF to meet MRO industry standards. "It is an honor for GMF to gain Airbus's trust for three consecutive periods. This partnership reflects GMF's dedication to supporting the delivery of aircraft maintenance services with the highest quality through the development of human resource skills to meet international standards," said Mukhtaris.
